About LearnPath

We were teachers first. We built LearnPath because we couldn't find a tool that actually served the students in front of us.

Our Story

Built by Educators, Not Just Engineers

LearnPath was founded in 2019 by Michelle Grant and three colleagues who had spent a combined 40 years in K-12 classrooms. The founding frustration was simple: every adaptive learning platform they tested was built by people who had never taught a class. The UX ignored teachers. The data was too granular to act on. And students could feel when the platform thought they were failing.

The first version of LearnPath was built in a rented office in Atlanta with a team of six. It was tested in two Title I schools in Fulton County before any outside money came in. That sequence — test in the hardest environment first — still defines how we build.

Our Belief

Every student can learn at grade level given the right sequence, the right pacing, and a teacher who knows where they are. The technology should make that possible, not be the point.

Our Approach

We test every feature change in real classrooms before general release. Our curriculum team includes practicing teachers who use the platform themselves three days a week.

Our Focus

K-12 only. We don't do corporate training or higher education. Schools have different accountability structures, different student privacy requirements, and different operational rhythms. That's where we focus.

Headquarters

Atlanta, GA

LearnPath is headquartered in Buckhead, Atlanta — one block from several of the school district offices we serve in the metro area. We chose Atlanta intentionally: the city's school districts are diverse, underfunded in many areas, and deeply committed to student outcomes. If our platform works here, it works anywhere.
